WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN THE HALL FACILITATE?

The Village Hall is suitable for a wide range of events, including Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Meetings, Training Events, Discos, Fitness Classes, Community Workshops, and more.

 

HOW DO I ENQUIRE ABOUT AVAILABILITY?

HOW DO I ACCESS THE HALL ON THE DAY OF BOOKING?

There is a key safe located to the left of the main entrance door. The access code will be sent to you upon receipt of payment. Please keep this code secure as we cannot guarantee staff or volunteers will be available on the day of your booking to provide it.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY BOOKING?

Chown Hall: Access to a large, well-equipped kitchen including cutlery, crockery, plastic cups and jugs for children’s parties, and cooking equipment. The kitchen features an industrial dishwasher, a hot water boiler, a fridge, and a freezer. Tables and Chairs are located in the large store cupboard in the hall. Cartwright Room: Access to a small kitchenette area with mugs, a kettle, and a fridge. Tables and Chairs are stored in the large storage cupboard at the rear of the room. This room also has its own accessible toilet. 

 

HOW ACCESSIBLE IS THE HALL?

Both ground floor rooms (Chown Hall and Cartwright Room) are fully accessible and include accessible washroom facilities. You would only need to use the stairs if you have hired the Upstairs Meeting Room.

 

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED WITH THE HALL?

The hall is proudly run by a small Committee of dedicated volunteers. We are always looking for new members with fresh ideas and energy to join us! When you join the Committee, you choose your level of involvement—whether that means running an event, helping out at the monthly markets, or attending committee meetings.
