WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN THE HALL FACILITATE?

The Village Hall is suitable for a range of events including Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Meetings, Training Events, Discos, Fitness Classes, Community Workshops etc.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE HALL ON THE DAY OF BOOKING?

Access to the hall is via a key held in the keysafe. The code to the safe will be sent to you upon payment. Please keep this code safe as we cannot guarantee that there will be someone available on the day to give you the code.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY BOOKING?

Chown Hall – access to large well equipped kitchen including cutlery, crockery, plastic cups and jugs for children’s parties, cooking equipment. The kitchen has a dishwasher, boiler for hot water, fridge and freezer. Tables and Chairs are in the large store cupboard in the hall.

Cartwright Room – access to small kitchenette area with mugs, kettle and fridge. Tables and Chairs are in large storage cupboard accessible to the rear of the Cartwright Room. The Cartwright Room also has its own accessible toilet.


HOW ACCESSIBLE IS THE HALL?

The two ground floor rooms are fully accessible including washroom facilities.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED WITH THE HALL?

The hall is run by a small Committee of volunteers and we are always looking for new members to join us with fresh ideas and energy. When you join the Committee you choose just how involved you wish to be whether that is running an event, helping out at the monthly markets or attending committee meetings.
